Azure Development Services - Laitkor |
1. AWS’s four core features consist of Compute, Storage & content delivery, databases and Networking. All these are functioning under Amazon’s general admin controls, which include identity management, encryption key conception/control/storage, auditing, monitoring and logging, and more. AWS also gives its consumers dominant analytics and tons of application services and deployment opportunities.
2. Azure also has its own Handoop application, HDInsight, and Apache Storm can do real-time stream treating. You can get virtual machines off the ground quickly and give your devices what they need to build and deploy apps. Storage and database options abound, as well.
3. AWS is a customer focus company who is always trying harder to provide better facilities and lesser the costs, which can be seen by the way they entirely switch the whole stack- from the routers on the network, the VM machines, the improved kernel drivers, even the energy sources. As concerned with Azure, they want clients, even if they are using Linux. Or in other words, they don’t seem to discriminate Linux at all, even being Microsoft.
4. The most critical about a cloud today is not the stack you are using. Rather you should consider performance. If your application is using a lot of read/write or tier 1 storage you will end up with a different end game.
5. Microsoft has enterprises with many companies now, including numerous important Linux players. Next to this, Microsoft has been advancing suggestively in its Big data stack which has gotten the tag Cortana Analytics suite. This includes support for real time streaming data as well as batch processing. It is just a rumour spreading around that Azure is immature. But you also need to understand that just after a few days of the Azure outrage, Google had issues and that couple of months hence AWS has issues too.
Unfortunately, you have to be aware that these things can happen and you need to architect your explanations to be able to knob this.
The shortcoming of all the three (AWS, Azure and Cloud) is that they are running on virtualized machines. Cloud vendor competition is heating up to include a price war and a new feature offering in the clash for your business. Amazon is the vibrant trail blazer with over 8 years in the market with azure following. But when a reputed company like Google enters the arena, it may appear that the race had just flickered even additional.
