Azure Application Development - Laitkor |
1. Amazon web services is head and shoulders above the rest with certifications and widely recognized and used. It operates in two levels, as an associate and a professional, and in a number of fields including Solution Architects, SysOps and developer. There are a number of supporting materials active with Amazon.
2. AWS is on the strong row and is becoming the biggest player and will be the most remarkable in the coming days. Their training pathway is really well structured. You can also start on self-taught AWS business and technical accreditations if you are totally fresh.
3. GCP could be interesting too if one look at their recent Apple deal, Google’s mobile history which reeled in snapchat as a client and some of the well-published hires into GCP like Diane Green who co-founded VMWare, Google could be leapfrogging Azure and IBM soon enough.
4. The AWS certification has always been most cool and beneficial from the career perspective. It is worth looking at Azure development Services certs too, but probably after the AWS ones which is still leading the industry for IaaS and PaaS.
5. You should be able to obtain all 5 AWS (about 5 MS certifications, VMWare, Citrix, OSX, Cisco etc.) within a year if you put your mind to it, and AWS provide a free-tier on their newly opened accounts allowing you to try most of the services for free, or for a small monthly amount. It is recommended to go through all 5, even if you aren’t a developer, the associate level certs share a lot of the content.
6. If there is any platform in which you are more comfortable than any other? If so, you may want to grab a certification for that platform first. Learning new platforms is time consuming, though there are people who go from absolutely no experience in AWS to getting certified at the associate level in few weeks. But if you really put a lot of practice, everything is possible.
7. AWS is certainly a major player in the present days as the developers have noted. If you are starting from a neutral footing, you could look at those certifications first. At the moment, there are three associate level certifications:
• AWS certified Developer
• AWS Certified solutions Architect
• AWS Certified SysOps Administrator
And two professional certs:
• AWS CertfiedDevOps Engineer
• AWS Certified solutions Architect
You should consider the above associate level certifications and professional certs and you can start with the associate level certification and then move on to the professional level depending on what you are interested in. Whatever you end up doing; you should focus on learning the ins-and-outs of the platforms instead of focusing on just grabbing certifications.
