The decline of Node.js
1. CommonJS work has stopped unfortunately, but there is availability of Node.js Foundation which is already on board representatives from: IBM, SAP, Joyent, Microsoft, PayPal, GoDaddy, Groupon, Intel, Digital Ocean and many more. As this has led to a foundation, in future Mozilla, Oracle, Chrome and Apple may ultimately join them.
2. Enterprise JS coalition is being supported by Adobe. The Node.js foundation has become a Linux Foundation Collaborative Project. The job trend is almost non-existent as compared to other one. In a more clear way, Node.js is fairly starting to rise up.
4. Node.js has stood beyond expectations and most of the major technology companies have at least some amount of Node.js running in their stack. By all measures, Node.js has been a great success and has become a top language on job request. It is just quite popular but it is surely not declining. It is more promising and great for asynchronicity and not concurrency.
6. As people try to use Node in real enterprise scenarios, there is now an element of attempting to “reinvent the wheel”, by adding package upon package to patch on functionality that already exists in Java, .Net, Ruby and PHP to some extent.
Node.Js is progressing slowly but it is surely not declining. It has a number of applications and language support, mostly for single user based. It is more promising and fairly rising with bigger steps on development. It is already been to a great success and so there may not arise any question regarding decline.
