Recommended node.js development compatible IDE
1. WebStormAs an IDE, WebStorm is not free but there are programs to support OS developer and it also supports interactive debugging and syntax highlighting (using static analysis and error prediction). You may also use Notepad++, although it is not an IDE but it is very light and has syntax highlighting. Printing by Notepad++ is pretty as well. It is easy process to just open→edit→save→quick fixes.
2. Komodo Edit/IdE
It has a hinting built in node.js code and has a console from where you can work on node.js. Komodo Edit is the free and OSS version of Komodo IDE. It is a lightweight and responsive cross platform.
It Is one of best editor, but not an IDE. If you are not looking for an IDE, this might be a great choice to select as it offers TONS of plugin.
4. Nodeclipse
It is IMO terribly, heavy and baggy with too less features than Webstorm. It has a debugger but it really don’t work much effectively.
It comes pre installed with node, vim, emacs and it is all in the browser. It has a lot of awesome feature and is freely available. This makes coding more impressive.
6. Light Table
It is open source and light weight IDE that works great with Git and you can also find some great plugins for Node.js and javascript in general.
